Key Operational Advantages for Fleet Operators
All drivers are given contact details in the event of a breakdown or ‘Vehicle off Road’ for any reason. This is available 24/7/365. The driver then simply gives details of the situation and PVS will manage the event.
Vehicle within the manufacturer’s warranty period: After checking the VRM against the database, if the vehicle is within the manufacturer's warranty period, the manufacturer will be contacted by PVS and the management of the VOR will be passed to them. At any time, the driver can keep PVS appraised and in the event of non-conformity, (assistance delayed for example), PVS will intervene to facilitate resolution.
Out of warranty support: PVS has a support agreement with a national breakdown organisation. In the event of a vehicle breakdown where the vehicle is not covered within the manufacturer's warranty, the breakdown company will be contacted by PVS, and immediate assistance dispatched. If necessary, the breakdown company will provide recovery for the driver and vehicle to a nominated site. If required, at this location the driver can acquire a relief vehicle and transfer any tools or equipment needed. If a spare vehicle is not available or a depot location is not convenient, then a suitable hire vehicle can be arranged. PVS will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure this happens within four hours. Each event will be measured for KPI conformity, and all non-conformity will be investigated, and a report created for the management.
